I’m Richard, a designer obsessed with Lord of the Rings (maybe a bit too much) and the love of my craft. Branding, typography, print and digital are all things that excite me in the design world. Even a bit of animation as of late! Which you can see in some previous work of mine. With a decade of experience across the likes of Vanquis Bank and Bed Bath & Beyond, I’ve learned how to navigate the challenges of high-profile brand refreshes without losing the soul or purpose of each company. (Even if those rebrands are meant to kickstart a new era of the company).

I love working between digital and traditional (print / physical) graphic storytelling. I’m enjoy figuring out the right typography choices for a print piece or building out clean, scalable design systems in Figma. The places I thrive the most in are within the brand building and visual identity areas. I love the excitement of trying to figure out the story behind a brand and its design language. Working with user testing and many rounds of internal reviews are things that I am quite used to. Even enjoy it a bit!
